7 Passenger SUV - It's Time To Get Out Of My Childhood Dreams And Get Into My Own Brand New Car

When I was little, whenever anyone asked me what kind of vehicle I wanted, I'd say I wanted a Nissan Quest. What will a ten year old want with a mini-van? But I suppose I found the lines of the vehicle interesting and futuristic looking. And I did want to be a mom one day so I guess I was planning ahead.

Today I'm a mother (six times over) and I'm ready to go car shopping. It's important to me to buy American in these really hard financial times so that narrows it down considerably but I actually do like the Ford Flex. And naturally it has to fit everyone, so that's why I'm looking at the 7 seater SUV.

It's not just the design of the vehicle that interests me now but all the other available features too. Although I actually do like how it looks. It looks like a stretched out mini cooper. I like the grill and the grooves around the side and I love the two moon roofs with the optional two-tone. It simply looks so excellent - a lot cooler than you would imagine a 7 passenger SUV to look.

A few of the other features are really ingenious. For example, it has a refrigerated console in the second row, there is a low step-in height, it has excellent handling and an eco-boost engine. Not that I think I will be using that too much. It is just nice to know it's got some power and I can't wait to try out the SYNC system for making calls, checking traffic and changing the music.

Most importantly though, it offers the very best crash test score, anti lock brakes, a monitor for the tire pressure and a rear view back up camera. I have done my research and I can't wait to get my family into their brand-new 7 passenger SUV - the Ford Flex!
